Victoria Coplans Hope

Victoria is Founder and Managing Director of Hope Communications. She is equally passionate about helping businesses achieve their strategic goals and building engaging work environments which provide exceptional employee experience.

Victoria specialises in employee engagement & experience strategy, employee research, internal & change communications, leadership communications coaching including personal brand, and redundancy advisory. She has 25 years of experience working across a range of industries including finance, insurance, aviation, hospitality, the UK government and oil & gas. With a background in IT and Economics, she has spent the past 15 years focusing on Integrated Communications and Government Affairs.

Born and raised in Asia, Victoria has spent the last decade in Hong Kong working in multinational matrix organisations. She was most recently Global Head of Employee Engagement for Shangri-La Group and prior to that led Employee Communications for HSBC’s Retail Bank & Wealth Management business in Asia Pacific.

Victoria is passionate about Diversity & Inclusion and recently worked with The Women’s Foundation as a mentor in their highly-acclaimed annual mentoring programme.

Victoria holds a Masters in Politics from the University of London, a Masters in Business Systems from Monash University, a Masters in Classical Archaeology from the University of Leicester, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (History & Archaeology) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics). Victoria has recently returned to Melbourne with her husband, son, and daughter.
